Sub-Deacon Daniel Kitchens II to be ordained Deacon.
"Deacon Daniel" was originally scheduled to be ordained a deacon in the NACEC on March 29, 2020. at Christ the King OCC in Albuquerque, NM. But due to the coronavirus and COVID-19 healthcare crisis this was postponed until a later date. Deacon Daniel will be ordained deacon at a time and place to be decided between himself and Bishop David, Presiding Bishop of NACEC. This will most probably take place in Albuquerque, NM, in late June or early July of 2020. Then Deacon Daniel will be ordained a priest at the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe on October 24, 2020, 7pm. All of this is in lieu of any changes due to the COVID-19 safety and travel conditions. Please pray for our Deacon Daniel on his spiritual path to priesthood and service to the People of God.
Bishop-Elect B. Scott Burris scheduled to be consecrated Bishop Co-Adjutor.
Bishop-Elect Burris will be consecrated at Bishop Co-Adjutor on Friday evening, October 23rd, at 7pm in Our Lady in the Valley Episcopal Church. All of this depends on the conditions imposed by COVID-19 with regard to safety and travel. A list of episcopal dignataries and guests will be announced closer to the event. We ask everyone's prayers for Bishop-Elect Burris and on NACEC on this joyful occasion.
Rev. Msgr. Bradley Scott Burris is elected by NACEC clergy to be Bishop-Elect.
Rev. Msgr. Scott Burris will be consecrated bishop during the 2020 Synod in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During the 2018 Synod Presiding Bishop David Doyle announced that he has seen two terms as Presiding Bishop and his third term would begin in 2020. Bishop David announced that it was time the NACEC clergy choose a priest who would succeed him as Presiding Bishop, and be ready to take office anytime during the next 5 years. Upon discussion and reflection, the attending clergy choose Msgr. Scott Burris from California to the office of Bishop-Elect, with the Consecration to the episcopacy to be done during the 2020 Synod in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This office will be Bishop Co-Adjutor, with the understanding that Bishop David probably will not fulfill the entire 5 years of Office of Presiding Bishop and Bishop Scott will assume the office upon a time mutually agreed upon by both bishops, and announced to the NACEC community of laity and clergy.

November 11, 2017: The North American Catholic Ecumenical Church honors and thanks all veterans of our U.S. military. We remember all of you who have served our nation in our prayers and Masses. The 2018 NACEC Synod Elevates Individuals to Sainthood
During the 2018 NACEC held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, assembled clergy evaluated and proceeded to elevated to sainthood individuals who exhibited profound faith and trust in God for the good of the world. Sainthood is not a declaration of human perfection or lack of sinfulness in one's life, but an awareness of God's or Jesus Christ's presence active in the Universes and the action to move people to that activity. There are Christians who translated Sacred Scripture to make it available to all of God's children, or sought the human dignity of all persons regardless of color or differences to be treated like a Child of God. There are non-Catholics and non-Christians who showed their desire for world or local peace or to better the world in their own way. Saints are those men and women who show us that striving to do Good is an integral part of a Christian Catholic's life in this world in preparation for the next world. For every human being standing in the sun there is a shadow they leave, and so it is with these new saints to be added to our Universal Calendar of Saints: they were human, they loved and laughed, and cried and hated. Some gave their lives for the greater good. May we be uplifted by their gifts and talents and forgive and learn from their shadows. The new saints are the following:
Martin Luther King, Jr 04-04-1968 P, M & C
Mahatma Gahndi 01-30-1948 M & Prophetic Witness
